Our staff members come from different playing and coaching backgrounds to ensure we are able to to relate to every athlete that enters our building.  No matter where you are at in your development process, our coaches know how to get the most out of our athletes in a supportive training environment. 

Joe McDonald

High School

• 4 year varsity starter at H.H. Dow High School – Midland, MI

• 2x All-Sate selection

• 3x All-District, All-Conference, All-Regional selection

• 4 year starter on a nationally ranked American Legion summer team

College

• Played and Lettered 4 years at Western Michigan as an Infielder/Outfielder

• Served as the Bronco team captain for 2 years

• Played 2 summers in the Florida Collegiate International League (FCIL)

• Nominated to 2 FCIL All-Star games (2005, 2006)

• Named 2006 FCIL Player Of The Year

• Named 2006 FCIL All-Star Game MVP

Experience

• Over 10 years of private instruction and coaching experience

• Owner and Operator of Capital City Baseball Kingdom.

• Trained 10 years under former Midwest Director of Scouting for the Cincinnati Reds; Rick Sellers (9 year professional playing experience-Reds/Tigers)

• Coached 2010 summer team to a top 10 finish at the USSSA International World Series in Crystal Lake, IL and a top 3 national ranking.

• Has coached, trained, and played with countless former and current college and professional athletes.

Kyle Peters

High School

• 4 year varsity starter at Haslett High School – Haslett, MI

• 3x All-District, All-Conference

• Voted All-Conference Honorary Captain (2007)

• Currently holds record for lowest ERA in a season (.89)

• Received Pitcher Of The Year award (2007)

• Trained under former Brewers bullpen and current Altoona Curve pitching coach Stan Kyles

College

• Played and Lettered 2 years at Jackson Community College as a pitcher

• Played 1 summer for American Legion Post 205 (2009)

• Received Lowest ERA Award at Post 205

• Ranks 13th all time in season ERA for Post 205

• Played 1 summer for Michigan Thunder in Livonia College League
